The gallery would like to congratulate Lisa Creskey on winning Best in Show at the 2017 The New Art Festival in Ottawa. Lisa exhibited one of her newer projects and displayed the freshly-fired work-in-progress, an amphibious craft used in arctic oil exploration that she scaled up from her GICB 2017 biennale exhibition piece Reflection Through Time and Ice – HMS Terror. She scaled up components from this work from 1-inch to 1-foot. This project explores motives in the history of exploration.
