Halifax-based jeweller and sculpture Sorrel Van Allen created the trophy that was presented to Todd Houseman, recipient of the 2024 RBC Emerging Artist Award. Houseman, a Nêhiyaw (Cree) actor, writer, and improviser, is celebrated for pushing boundaries and finding contemporary ways to express Indigenous culture.
