I grew up on the St Lawrence River, and now live on the Gatineau River. My definition of peace and contentment is floating like a duck on any Canadian river. Schools of bluntnose minnows are keeping this wood duck company.

With very few exceptions, all of my work describes flora and fauna that is indigenous to Canada, and very frequently specifically the Ottawa Valley.
