Bird (D# Sharp), Sculpture by Anna Frlan

I created 88 steel birds for my P.O.W. Piano sculpture, which is part of my Instruments of War and Peace: Steel and Sound series. I felt the need to document the individual birds which started as fairly realistic depictions and ended up completely enmeshed in the imaginary realm. I will continue to tell the story of the P.O.W. Piano with images of various parts of the sculpture, from piano keys to bells.
